Holistic Health Promotion @ BVPS

Bukit View Primary School adopts an integrated planning and evaluation process in our health promotion programmes. The school adopts a self-assessment framework, similar to SEM, to raise standards, reduce health inequalities, support professional development of staff and manage change. The desired outcomes developed under the pupils’ well-being categories are Physical Activity, Personal and Social Health and Emotional Health. The school looks into a developmental process to observe in our pupil’s changes in attitudes and perception, skills and knowledge, behaviour and impact. Each presenter will share, in bite size, some of the practices we adopt in out health promotion efforts, such as the Mass CCA programme, Fruittie Veggie Bites programme, hygiene checklist and our model class award.
