HY Ambassadors

         A highlight of the Educating For Health (EFH) Conference is the Healthy Youth (HY) Ambassadors. This pioneer group of youth leaders will have the opportunity to obtain ideas and insights on how to champion health promotion in their own schools. These HY Ambassadors will rally their peers into taking on a healthy lifestyle through the concept of ‘Getting Youth to Connect with Youth’.

21st Century Health Communication

        Participants will have the opportunity to log on to online health portals from the Health Promotion Board (HPB) and the Singapore Sports Council (SSC). The HPB’s Youth Advolution for Health (YAH) website and Sporton from the SSC will bring health communication forward in the 21st Century as they tap on the age of digital media to send out the message of holistic health.

Delegates Forum : Uniting For Health - HYCom

        Singapore's formation of an inter-agency committee working on the next phase in health advocacy, the Holistic Health Framework (HHF). This new framework encompasses the aspects of not just physical health but social and mental health as well. The three guiding principles of the framework are Total Well-Being, Inclusion and Quality Delivery. Foreign delegates will get the opportunity to find out how these partnerships help to support the policy and implementation processes of the HHF.
