Home - EFH Conference- About The Conference

 Theme
"Connecting the HYway" It reflects the partnerships that are needed from the community, parents and the school in order to lay the path for our students to take up the Healthy Youth Way(HYway) of life.

Significance of the Conference Logo

The conference logo signifies the three aspects of Holistic Health.

  • The green figure represents physical health i.e. growth, nutrition and the environment
  • The blue figure represents mental health i.e. a calm, cool and stable state of mind
  • The red figure represents social health, as in the red of the Singapore flag signifying brotherhood.

The figures in a lively dance together further emphasize the unity of the three aspects of holistic health. They are socially bonded, physically active and mentally in tune with themselves and their peers.

The shape of the figures' arms form a heart representing the social and emotional learning between the figures and the shape of the whole figure is a human heart which incorporates physical health.

Designed by Miss Lee Mun Yee of the Curriculum Planning and Development Division’s (CPDD) Art Unit, from the Ministry of Education, it is truly symbolic of Holistic Health which covers Physical, Social and Mental Health. It also symbolises the benefits and joy of adopting a healthy lifestyle.

Conference Focus

The focus of the EFH Conference is to provide participants with opportunities to understand policy design and implementation strategies for holistic health. The conference also seeks to provide participants with ideas and insights into health promotion. For School Leaders, the conference is an invaluable one-stop platform to glean practical ideas and garner resources as they lead their schools in implementing the Holistic Health Framework.

Supporting Holistic Health

The EFH conference will provide opportunities for networking and building collaborations amongst participants and health promotion agencies as well as vendors with programmes for health.

Leading health-promoting schools will share their journey in implementing the Holistic Health Framework in their schools with participants. Student leaders will be able to network with other student leaders and collaborate on future health promotion projects.
